This is Akhil Pillai
Hi, I'm Akhil (though I go by Ackle too), and I'm a young musician and composer based in the US. I began composing music for fun at the age of 14, but I now have a growing portfolio of compositions of all sorts of genres. I play (and occasionally improvise) on the piano and oboe. My works cover a range of genres and purposes, from film soundtracks, video game music, chamber music pieces, and orchestral works.

Hegemonic is an cinematic piece composed for Carlmont High's Symphony Orchestra and was premiered at the school's 2025 Winter Concert. The piece features a mix of reocurring themes which ultimately climax in the finale.
